Always Aim High Events

The first part of the Adventure Championships, The Slateman Triathlon is the most Iconic Adventure Triathlon in Wales. Starting in Llanberis; the heart of Snowdonia’s industrial heritage this is an unparalleled race which combines stunning scenery with epic challenges. 220 Tri Magazine has listed the Slateman run course as one of the best in the world!

Due to Covid-19 we weren’t able to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2020 so we will be doing so in 2021! It is sure to be the biggest and best Slateman yet. Now being staged in June, the warmer water temperatures, additional events over the weekend and a party atmosphere all surrounded by stunning scenery will make this an event not to be missed from any athletes calendar.

Three Castles Trials

The Three Castles Trial runs in June every year and is North Wales’ very own prestige multi-day classic car rally, featuring entries from around the world and inviting comparison with famous European events such as the Rallye des Alpes and the Mille Miglia.

Based in Llandudno, up to 100 cars of all ages from the 20s to the 80s contest a series of road regularity sections at slow speed and private land driving tests that are tackled flat out. The 500 mile route takes in all the beautiful scenery that North Wales has to offer and enjoys lunch halts at prestigious venues such as Portmeirion Hotel, Pale Hall and Lake Vyrnwy Hotel. Back in Llandudno, Rally HQ is the Imperial Hotel, which the rally occupies for almost the whole week.

The 2020 event would have been the 17th and the event had run annually since 2003. It’s the first year we have not been able to come to Llandudno and competitors miss it so much that we already have a full 100 car entry for our return in June 2021.
